It can be difficult looking for employment and facing rejection after being fired or laid off. However, it doesn't have to be the end of the world. If you look at every rejection as a learning opportunity, you will discover more about yourself. Asking pertinent questions, such as "What can I improve on my interview?", "Did I put my best foot forward when I followed up?", or "Are my interview skills up to par" can make a difference as to how many opportunities will come your way.
